- Erstes juristisches Staatsexamen (German first legal state examination) in Freiburg, Germany, in 1996.
- Trainee lawyer placement with Allianz Dazhong Life Insurance Ltd. in Shanghai, P.R. China.
- Zweites juristisches Staatsexamen (German second legal state examination) in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1999; thereafter doctoral thesis on the subject “Die Internationalisierung der Belegschaften multinationaler Unternehmen mit Sitz in Deutschland” (“The internationalization of the workforces of multinational enterprises with registered offices in Germany”) with doctoral advisor Prof. Dr. Rieble.
